    • Nitrogen (N): 0.24-0.32%

    • Other Elements: Trace amounts of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, and copper

Characteristics

  • High Strength and Toughness: Super Duplex F53 provides higher strength and toughness compared to conventional austenitic stainless steels, due to its dual-phase microstructure.
  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-containing environments.
  • Good Weldability and Machinability: Can be welded and machined using standard techniques, although care must be taken to avoid excessive heat input during welding.
